The first two weeks of the nba 2011-12  season have officially been canceled after the players and owners failed to reach an agreement on a new collective bargaining agreement.
Despite meeting between the two sides Monday that lasted approximately eight hours, there was not enough progress made to save the initial portion of the campaign.
